Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for using Setfolio. Setfolio is in free public beta; these terms are a beta draft and may change as the product matures. Last updated July 2026.

Who can use it

Setfolio is for DJs publishing an archive of their own SoundCloud uploads. By connecting an account you confirm it's yours and that you have the right to publish the mixes and artwork it contains.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Setfolio for content you don't have the rights to, or in violation of SoundCloud's terms.
• Don't attempt to disrupt the service, access other tenants' data, or circumvent the limits and protections in place.
• Don't impersonate other artists or Setfolio itself.

We may suspend or remove an archive that breaks these rules or that we're required to take down.

Your content

Your mixes, tracklists, and data stay yours. Publishing simply makes the archive pages publicly viewable; you can unpublish or delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Deletion is permanent — see Privacy for exactly what is stored and removed. Audio is never stored or re-hosted; playback is the official SoundCloud embed, subject to SoundCloud's terms.

Beta service — provided “as is”

Setfolio is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, during beta. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be withdrawn. To the extent permitted by law, Setfolio is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service. Keep your own copy of anything important — your tracklists are yours to export.

Changes

We'll update these terms as Setfolio leaves beta and paid plans arrive. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
